Are humans related to the monkey?

Monkeys are often classified by scientists as “primates” and "closely related" to humans. But is this a belief or a fact of science? (keep scrolling for much more!)

Monkeys have strong, grasping hands and “feet” which actually are a second pair of hands, while some have prehensile (grasping) tails. These creatures come in many different sizes and sorts…from large and dangerous gorillas to the tiny pygmy marmoset which weighs in at just over 3.5 oz!

Here is some good info. We are often told that monkey DNA is 99% similar to human DNA. But is this true? (See evidence below.)

Time Magazine in 2004 alleges humans and chimpanzees are related.

God made humans in His Own image.

But WHAT is the BIG picture of the view that humans and apes are related? Let's start at the very beginning...

(They somehow even know the "actual size" of the universe at the very beginning!) How could they possibly know...??

So what happened to that dot?

How they believe everything began, somehow that "dot" exploded, expanded rapidly in an event commonly called a "big bang"...

Then, somehow...somewhere in the vast universe all of that expanding material somehow (instead of continuing to expand infinitely in a frictionless environment such as space), everything began to coalesce (come together) to form planets, stars, galaxies, water molecules...and early earth was formed:

Somehow, over eons of time, the hot molten mass of "early earth" produced clouds, and from those clouds came massive amounts of water that inundated the earth forming giant oceans...

Then, over indeterminate periods of time, somewhere...somehow a tiny speck of life appeared. Perhaps this spontaneous generation was the result of a lightning strike from the massive clouds resulting from the previously molten earth.

Then, over eons of time the "simple" life form developed, adding new information all on its own to become multi-celled.

...then, from multi-celled to a more highly-developed organism: a fish.

And, from a fish to an amphibian...

Then, from amphibian to reptile...such as the giant dinosaurs!

And from reptiles came a creature who had "evolved" the ability to choose either to develop bird or mammal features...

Then...mammals "evolved" into specified groups such as primates...

...and primates evolved into many types, including humans.

Is this our long, lost relative?

We'll just consider two of these supposed links...

"Nebraska Man" was found to belong to a sole tooth, later discovered to belong to a (allegedly extinct) pig--a peccary!

This hoax was perpetrated by Charles Dawson who chemically treated a human skull fragment and an ape jawbone fragment to make them look old, buried them in close proximity and later "discovered" them, presented them as "proof" of human-ape relation!

Such lies have been believed by untold numbers of individuals, including people who attain governmental power...such as a man named Adolph Hitler, who said concerning a group of people he deemed less "fit" (less evolved) to survive (the Jews and other people groups):

After trial of numerous other methods of killing, the seditious Hitler-led German machine finally settled on the method of mass killing via gas in chambers (above).

Such atrocities have been committed based upon the idea that some humans are less "evolved."

When we think of world wars, we should remember the root causes and motives behind them, such as Hitler's belief in human evolution and that the Jews were "close to pure ape."

But what is the TRUTH about humans and the ape kind of animal? We so often hear about similarities, what about the DIFFERENCES?

Scripture tells us that we can save someone from death by turning them from error!

The TRUTH is that there is a Creator Who made us in His "image."

The human race was impacted by the first two people's violation, their disobedience to the Creator's command. Adam was held responsible as the first one God made:

But the GOOD NEWS is that the Creator Himself, God in flesh the LORD Jesus Christ took the punishment we deserved when He came to earth and willingly went to the cross in our behalf. The entire work of His death, burial, and resurrection from the dead accomplished the FULL payment for all our violations!
