"When I consider thy heavens..." Psalm 8:3
"When I consider thy heavens..." Psalm 8:3

What was the response of the psalmist when he wrote

"When I consider Thy heavens the work of Thy fingers, the moon and stars, which Thou hast ordained; what is man, that Thou art mindful of him...?"

One word, humility.

In this segment, we are considering various aspects of creation...such as God using of His heavenly handiwork in reference to His chosen people, the Israelites:

How does Biblical Creation help us?

(Consider the use of such family terms in Scripture.)

Consider creation when facing persecution or suffering...

And though Scripture from beginning to end is rife with numerous emphases on the Creator and His handiwork, over 25 years of ministry we've had a number of interesting encounters especially with those who claim to uphold the same Scripture! Such as...

Some pastors do have understanding...

Or some may ask this:

I'll never forget our former pastor asking me in more of a statement:

"Everything you do is about creation."

I'd gone over to the church to ship a package, and in doing so passed by his office and offered a brief greeting. In that unplanned encounter he made the above statement with a quizzical look, so at that moment I had an opportunity to offer him a brief reason for our labor! While I have no recollection of exactly what I said, I will always remember his apparent lack of understanding of our work and why our focus was on creation. While we're extremely grateful that our former church took us on for support and faithfully supported us for more than 20 years, we were never given an opportunity under that pastor to present our work to the people or to share ministry updates or preach in a service.

And some may wonder something like this:

(a church member in FL responding to our "hands on" table, after making reference to what "other evangelists" do)

While most people, including pastors, may never see the Biblical and scientific importance of creation, by God's grace we'll never be deterred! He has kept us going for 25 years and we trust HIM to help us continue!

Have you considered the planet Jupiter lately?

And what about a "singing sun"?
